Does anyone know if all the ipods have the same sound quality.. For example the ipod mini and the ipod nano... Hope someone knows... thanks

I heard some time back that the 1st generation iPod Shuffle had the best sound quality.

the sound quality is very much depends on your compression and also some hardware.

as for the ear piece, they are almost similar. unless you get the faulty ones.
if the voltage is very much the same, I believe the quality is not much dif.
if you get a good quality of the ear piece, surely you will get very good bass .....

i found on that ipod video's sound quality is not the same as the nano's one....video has brighter background....

The sound is definately different, go to any apple retail store and find out

ipod sound still rock.
the compression play a big part too.

You wont really notice the different if you're not an audiophile. But the audio performance still far from Sony and Creative players.

i hered that the newer ipod nano hos no 3d sound effect, not like the 1 in the ipod classic.

I owned first generation ipod nano before but didn't realize that it has surround sound/3D sound effect.
