Yo tomato, you'd need to do some adjustments to your teams..or probably start a petition
QUOTE(Koross @ May 13 2008, 12:15 PM) Concerning TF2 team size, it is decided that the tournament will be a 5vs5 instead because of certain constraints. So TF2 teams, please be aware. Good luck to those participating!! |

Try checking the user's aliases? Btw, just curious, isn't the forget password function sufficient for retrieving a new password? Need to go through support also?

QUOTE(Lord_Destructo @ May 30 2008, 12:40 AM) The retrieve password function is supposed to work. Unfortunately, I can't remember the exact secret answer to my secret question.... And also, I know my memory is screwed-up and lousy. But I'm 100% sure it was a -V- Co. member who asked me to join a Steam community group. Just not sure which one.... I checked through my friends list and I only see Tenille and Matafleur as my friends...Aiyo, now I really lost la... Forgetting the answer to secret questions. Blah, I understand that feeling |

QUOTE(Prawninator @ May 30 2008, 03:41 AM) Change back to kingdance? Btw, destructo, it's very clear that your account was phised (no, not hacked). Take a look ![]() But didn't you get this warning when you click it? ![]() Have to admit though, the site was VERY nicely done. After attempting a login it even redirects you to the actual steamcommunity.com site so basically those hit didn't even suspect a thing I believe the only difference at the source code is this line at the login form: QUOTE(phish) <form enctype="multipart/form-data" action="next.php" method="get" name="loginForm" id="loginForm"> QUOTE(real) <form enctype="multipart/form-data" action="https://steamcommunity.com/" method="POST" name="loginForm" id="loginForm"> This might help in your support request with Steam. |

The site was clearly made for bad purposes. If you go to the domain itself (hiepz.com), all you see is a download link for a so called Hiepz Messenger. It's a trojan though.
whois came back to be useless, he's using a anonymous protection service :-\ Added on May 30, 2008, 10:51 amI've reported the site to Google, after they process it Firefox users should get a warning whenever they visit it. This post has been edited by Crazy.SoT.Gila: May 30 2008, 10:51 AM |

THAT, and the fact that people do sell steam accounts. Same applies to everything else that requires money, such as Rapidshare accounts. Tons of phised ones for sale, including here in LYN.

QUOTE(Lord_Destructo @ Jun 1 2008, 11:07 AM) Yeah. but Steam Support can easily return the account to its rightful owner by resetting the password. All failed phishers should know this already. Unless of course, the original owner is some dumbass who doesn't keep his CD-Key or threw away his credit card. There ARE people like that. Furthermore, they can have it sold before the owner retrieves it back. So basically they've got their money |
