Ok, i just bought a WD elements 160 gb ext hard drive. Never used one before. So i copied the current iPhoto library into it. Then i found some old cds with iPhoto pictures and when i want to update the ext hd, do i have to open each folder one by one? A lot and very tedious like that. sad.gif

How do i do this automatically?

Any other way to make this easier for future updates as well?

Thanks, all!!!

well i'm not sure will this help, ok if ur most updated iPhoto library is in ur current mac and u want to update ur the library in ur external harddisk. so u drag ur lastest version library to ur external harddisk. and next time u b4 launch iPhoto, connect ur external harddisk B4 that and press option key and click on iPhoto, iPhoto will ask u quit, choose library, and create library. so u can choose to launch the iPhoto library from ur external harddisk. when u do that, next time ur iPhoto will remember ur main iPhoto library will be in ur external harddisk. so make sure u always connect ur external harddisk b4 u launch iPhoto so that every import image will store in ur external harddisk iPhoto library.
