Many problems to ask..., Memory Card and PS2 problem here!!!

I have use my PS2 for bout four years and it still functioning quite good till recently.
Bout few weeks ago my machine began to running slow.
The loading is slow and sometimes it din even detect the disc ( most of the time )
The whole thing is so slow.
Then about the memory card is that when i want to browse the file inside,
when it load to a certain file it will just hang like that and nothing happen.
I use my friends ps2 but still the same thing come out.
Any suggestion?
Maybe repair the machine?
Change a new memory card?

I think ur mem card is kong already...just like mine b4. As for the loading of games...does it happen to a particular game or to all games?

Possibly, memory card out already.
About particular games, it should be the IC. Give it to the retailers here for a fix.
