Pros:-
-Easy Installation
-Superb performance
-Performance gain if slight modifications are made
-Will look very nice and clean in a case

Cons:-
-Fan is relatively slow(guess is for a silent setup)
-I feel there are just too many wires, may cause clutter
-Very hard to get in Malaysia

Conclusion

Touching this item has really made me fall in love with the TEC cooling idea. I have to say that this is really by far one of the best cooling alternatives i have ever used (my watercooling setup should be the best hehe). The concept and design put into the CoolIT Freezone is truly remarkable and my hats goes off to the designer and engineers behind the scenes biggrin.gif The neatness while its chucked into the case and the awesome performance, I would say its something worth spending on smile.gif

I award the CoolIT Freezone a 9/10

A special thanks to my sponsor, you know who you are smile.gif

ive seen it up and close before, it is nothing like what you think it may be, but for better performance numbers, a custom WC set would still outperform this kit, not to mention the CoolIT smile.gif
performance wise, the coolit has the same temp as my WC setup on idle, but load, it loses out by about 7 degrees smile.gif
if i had a multidie proc, id show you better numbers for comparison between WC and the Coolit

Dream on. laugh.gif
It's sold with a price tag of US$326.32 in United States.

Conversion to RM: US$326.32 X 3.31 = RM1081.00

And that RM1081 doesn't even include shipping to Malaysia and Tax. laugh.gif

Thank you for explaining it to someone who doesn't appreciate people selling things at half the price. laugh.gif
There's a lot of them in this forum who never appreciate cheap things which they will always ask for cheaper price.

think the elite not worth it unless u go quaddies

the idle temp.. its just nuts.. and u will get condensation .. like SERIOUS condensation on the cpu block and tec..

heck to remove i have to overclock my computer.. prime it .. on my aircon like blasting and then after awhile only off the computer
then only can remove the heatsink..
cause risky the condensation on the heatsink .. waterdroplets might drop when u move the main unit..

so i would say the normal freezone was good enough..
but heck i think they are not selling those anymore..

dude try the e8400 its a challenge.. kekeke
so far after three weeks mastered all the voltages up to 502fsb..
503 504.. not yet.. havent found the right gtl/fsb termination ( oh yeah freaking damn important no more like last time just push to load into windows..)
and overall for bus to bus with e6850 u require around 0.1v more on ure NB.. so geee water cooling on NB.. or aircon wei..

actually with all the fuss.. its good for bench rig..
but daily use . u need to monitor..

the mtec controller fried my fans twice.. so now i cant monitor the water temps..
that program was awesome.. it controls the tec and fan speed via a usb connector to a mtec module..

the elite is actually cheaper since it comes with the mtec controller module which cost usd119 by itself.

hence also btx style is totally recommended..
going atx is insane if that water drops..

looking at the crazy wattage pp are running
heck i think stock cooler enough

but dude
how u going to do 4ghz - Bus 1333/4=333 2667/333= 8
that means u need 500fsb..

tough luck wei..
unless u have a mobo like the DFI UT to control the gtl and a good batch...oh yeah and hell a lot of patience

most i see it going is between 3.6 to 3.8..
unless the new c1 stepping can increase the bus.. but i doubt it.. cause its a gtl issue.

what do u mean by that? isn't the penryn q series has the same overclockability as the e series? where do i find the multiplier list of penryn procs?...

Added on February 14, 2008, 9:28 amwhat about performance comparison?... q9450 @ 3.8 or e8400 @ 4.4 faster?

cstkl1, cant the mtec can off the TEC on the elite? if condensation is a serious problem it would be kind of bad at my place....still think about wherether to get it or not.......

IcEMoCHa, getting a proc that hitting 500fsb is like seeking a gem, if u dun mind save the extra cash get 9300 is more then enough to hit 3.5ghz....

Seems very sexy in a tight little package. Not available in Malaysia? Hmmm...
