1. Brand
Does it really matter? Can anyone enlighten me on this ? Dell, Compaq, HP etc, does it really matters ? Or is it just the name? Like hearing an Apple Iphone is better than hearing a GuangZhou D123456 Phone * Ps: random example LOL*

2. Budget
Below Rm3k. ( yes, this means even 2nd hand laptops 1k+ )

3. Specs

Hmm... this is a lil hard.
-2 gb ram, good processor ?
-Decent graphics card ? ( My bro says so >< )
-The All-in-one internet etc thing. Wireless blablabla ( im noob in dis =D)

4. Size
-Prefers 14' or 15' .

Actually, im suppose to get a laptop for college. Since i don't really do much even using the desktop, any laptops can be recommended. Jz normal stuff, ie MSN, Dota ( YES YES YES MUSTTTT DOTAAAA), DL ( torrent ), browsing .....

PS: Oh yeah..... i want XP =D not Vista.

Er.... i went to PC fair and tried out the CQ-40 1st hand. There's only one Windows XP left. I tried it.
I like the design. Simple. Fast. But the only thing i don't like was............

"D FRIGGIN TOUCH PAD"~~~!!!!
Is anyone else having this problem ? The touchpad is TOOO smooth and its really hard to move the cursor around.
Could this be MY problem ? or is the laptop's design dat way ?
I tried other laptops and their touchpads were fine. Very good , sensitive enough .

Btw, is NEC good ?

Can more than 1 laptops be listed down so he can review each of them one by one ?
What he wants is the cheapest dell, for the best offer. Preferably a durable one too. THANKS
