I'm looking for a laptop.
Brand:Fujitsu will be the first preference
Budget:4000-5000
Spec:4GB RAM Vista Ultimate Touch Screen Webcam integrated 250 GB HDD 12 inches will be pretty good.
Lastly,I want the battery to last long.
By the way,I would like to ask. AMD Turion better or Intel Core2 Duo better?

QUOTE(astria @ Aug 31 2008, 10:04 AM) not sure abt Fujitsu laptops, but... go for Core 2 Duo if u ve a choice, it's performance is better and consumes less power... Then how about other brands? I'm looking for twist and turn touchscreen laptop that's why I go for Fujitsu.

I'm currently looking for a laptop. Due to my job's requirement,I need a stylish one.
The specs should be just normal,it doesn't have to be high performance but of course considerable.
If possible,I think a tablet is better.
Budget is around RM4-5k

QUOTE(KeV @ Oct 5 2008, 09:02 PM) stylish one, in what sense stylish? u can consider dell studio with mike ming's skins. they are styled by a tattoo artist, costs rm200+ more. else a macbook maybe? lots of choices. tablet? theres some from hp that costs rm2999 it really depends what u want I'm actually looking into Fujitsu tablets. A Macbook costs too much. I would prefer stylish laptop like VAIOs but Sony doesn't have any tablet, does it?

My friend is looking for a new laptop. He's studying on graphic design. Budget is so far not a problem.(He's rich, man)
1)Any brand will do 2)Preferably mobility graphic card. 3)3 or 4 GB ram. 4)Centrino 2(or any other platform which gives long lasting power) 5)250 GB or above HDD. 6)Not going to Apple.
Thanks for helping.

QUOTE(cannavaro @ Dec 12 2008, 11:45 PM) Since he's doing graphic design... I gather he doesn't mind a 17" laptop? Since budget is not a problem, there's plenty of options. Erm I know, but mind to give a specific model to me?It's easier to check.Thx

QUOTE(cannavaro @ Dec 14 2008, 01:16 AM) ASUS M50VM Price at compuzone. +Larger HDD +Better CPU +More memory or this: +eSata +Blu-ray +Better GPU Just a brief comparison. Btw if you want the best specs-to-price ratio you may want to have a look at the notebooks in xoticpc.com. http://www.xoticpc.com/creativeprofessiona...18_101_109.htmlThe only issue is warranty though, you'd have to ship it back to US. Shouldn't be a problem since your friend is rich. edit: Just rechecked, you can get global warranty for ASUS notebooks at xoticpc.com Oh thanks a lot,I'll go to look into it.
