Any Brand but not acer! Mostly compaq 2. Budget. - around 2k~2.4k 3. Specs. - AMD turion or INTEL CORE DUO - which will carry out the task faster? - Last at least 3years for study - RAM doesn't matter - Waranty issue 4. Size. - about 14" LCD |

I'd advise u to get at least 2Gb ram to be comfortable n 3gb if it's vista also for slightly heavier multitasking like me. vista x32 has been proven to read 3gb.
