I guess u dont want asus based on the 1st priority criteria. (well all laptops has its own problems lar)
since u did not rule out acer then i should say acer 4920G (RM2999)
hey besides that, why dont u get a cheaper laptop. since ur major usage = minor specs. like dell 1420 (RM2299)?
dont even have to upgrade the warranty. when spoil just get new one lor.
or try acer 4715 and 4520 (RM1799 and RM 1899)
one of my best friend has been using the lower end acer laptop for about one year and so far so good. (he is using 4720 which is similar to 4715) better to get 4720 than 4520

Is it good compared to Asus with this price??
Or compared to dell studio 15(u recomanded) which 1 is suitable for me?
MY CHOICE IS GETTING NARROW... YEAH.. THX BMD ALL ALL OF U

Asus got EEEPC and i think it is really RM660. But now eeepc got many models ranging from below 1k to below 2k
to those who want to find out bout eeepc just go to the shop. try it out. if like then buy lor. so cheap anyway.
dell inspiron 1730 is huge and heavy. it is using ge force 8400 which has little heat issue.
certainly u should go for dell studio. using ati gc. and also new model mah... bosan see inspiron. get dell studio/ really is better to get studio. specs also better.

bmd.. i am waiting for ur comment since 12.30pm ="(
rm3726 is a lil overbudget le. Perhaps i can get cheaper in pc fair tha coming soon.
in uni lar. the reply that i send this afternoon was in the uni library. (sick with maths B and mechatronic design)
ermm... what is ur budget again? no u will not get much cheaper in pc fair for dell. maybe most also 100 like that. but if u notice dell has instant rebate. means if inpsiron if u customise until rm4000 u will get rm 300 rebate. means it will cost RM 3700. but if studio u have to customise to rm5000 to get rm 500 rebate. in pc fair will get many upgrades. not discount
can u list down the choices that u have made? i quite blur now. coz dont really know ur budget.

I'm planning to buy either Dell Inspiron 1420 or 1525 but it's graphic card is Intel® Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 Specifications. Is it suitable for gaming or does it heats up after long hours?? I heard that Nvidia 8400 & 8600 heats up after long hours.

Thanks!!

inegrated graphics x3100 is the lowest of all graphics. not for gaming at all.
8400 and 8600 got heat problems (but the thread talking bout this not really active so maybe not serious) anyway it can be overcome easily by having good cooling system,
dell inspiron if u customise can get 8400 and 8600.

how much is the 8600GT? is it dell?? What's the exactly date of pc fair??
just in case u got confuse.. 8600 gt is a very powerful gc. which i dont think u need. those are for really gamers.
and the forumer is hoping that dell will have 8600GT during pc fair
8600gt can be on any laptop not only dell

i think he was refering to 8600GS and not GT (big diff there)
Dell 1420 can customise GC to get 8600GS. (but i cannot find it already.. last time got)
