Those are minimum requirements. If you have a laptop that cost 7.5 and specs are higher then is ok.

im thinking of buying benq s42 (RM3500++) but in doubt with the gpu, heard that got problem something defect when attached with mobo.

hey guys, just surfing around here and just so happens to see this thread, and im going abroad  to further my studies.
The problem is, i cant find any branded named lappy that can satisfied my gaming experience, and since its a pain to bring my 4KG PC along with me, im selling my pc to a cousin of mine.
just started to survey Asus brand since they came out with their G70s, but after looking the price tag, i was abit shocked, but i can afford it, only thing is i cant find any similar lappy that has the spec that i wanted. And from my siggy you can tell im abit extreme about gaming

so my question is, what do you think of the G70s and if you can compare it with a more reliable brand such as Acer or HP, which would you choose for a gaming lappy? i dont have much knowledge about lappy and i hope you guys can show me the right path to aid my search

to me personally HP lappy are abit overpriced then what they should be. ><"

I'm looking for a laptop. I've seen feedbacks on the laptops i've been looking through,and they're kinda terrible.. I'm also kinda fed-up looking through and through websites,so i had to end up here,like a last resort.

1. Brand - I don't know what brand suits me best, it's the reliability.

3. Specs - My aim is to have a laptop that runs smoothly and fast. Preferably a processor more than 2ghz. Good graphics card.might wanna game a little. Screen not too big,preferably something around..15" or less. Slim and light. Good and long battery life. Good set of speakers the laptop comes with. Better also with a OS XP. Trackpad can be used to scroll through pages. Integrated webcam as good as 2MP.

also,pls help me out with other recommendations if the specs above doesn't meet an actual laptop.

I would like to buy a gaming laptop in the coming pc fair.
My budget is ~3k
I saw an Acer Aspire (Blue Gem) selling for 3k, with GeForce 9600 512mb, Blue ray rom, 3g ram, 360 hdd, C2D t5750.
Is it worth buying?
Any better suggestion? Actually i don't like Acer. I prefer Asus but it's expensive.
