Endless Ocean reviews has surfaced in the following sites:

1. GameSpot (Score: 7 out of 10) - ... when Endless Ocean is at its best, it's soothing, beautiful, fun, and unlike any other game out there.
2. IGN (Score: 8 out of 10) - ... you will have fun all the same simply discovering new things, whether that encapsulates a humpback whale or a long-lost underwater civilization. You will also marvel at the serene locales and beautiful music the game employs. There are enough missions, from becoming a tour guide for other divers to photographing rare fish, to keep you busy for hours.

Tried it and it's relaxing just to dive and swim around touching fishes and examining corals after the hack and slash action of No More Heroes. The gameplay is brilliantly enhanced with music especially "Prayer" performed by Hayley Westenra.

I supposed you could say you've finished the game when you have discovered all the details of the fishes and sea animals for the 40 page encyclopedia in the game.

I'm currently 6-7 hours in to game.
Have explored 3/4 of Manoa Lai.
Got two partners.
Haven't done it with that female marine biologist.

Just explored the ruins. The ruins are based off Japan's Yonaguni "underwater pyramids". Whether it was manmade, or terraformed by natural tides is still unknown.

Yesterday, I had a play session online with a fellow forumer. Surprising isn't it? I wanted to post this up earlier, but for some certain reasons, I couldn't tongue.gif The pictures were not 'developed' yet.

Online Impressions

Online was fast, and quick. Setting up a game is just as easy as opening your gate to your boat, and letting your friend come over, similar to Animal Crossing DS. In fact, it was only like 10-20 seconds when I opened my gates, "DonS" was already on his way to my boat with his jet-ski.

Ah-HA! I walk over to the gate, I saw him climb aboard. To greet him, there was no other way to communicate, but only through pre-set dialogue available through pressing UP on the D-pad.. so "THIS IS FUN" became the first line, follow by "PLEASE".. So much sense.

Without further a due, I already promised that I'd take him to the "Abyss". The Abyssal plains take place 500ft down the sea, which is about 1/2 a km according to him. But in reality, the abyss is located some 1.5 miles down(IINM), and goes as deep as 4 miles(or more).

But during our first dive, confusion started, as we started drifting away during our dive, we were lost, we were laughing our heads off thinking where the hell is he, then I said "RETURN TO THE BOAT". I was still laughing while the screen was loading, and I proceed to call him to clarify things. He was laughing his head off too.

Finally, we got down to business. Here's a picture of DonS getting in touch with nature!

Yes, it's pitch black down here, the only light source, is the one coming from the divers.

Good thing the fishies in Manoa Lai haven't got a taste for human flesh, so he's safe tongue.gif

All in all, we had a blast. Exploring the sea with a friend is definitely a new experience. It made the game tremendously fun for me, even DonS here had some fun exploring the scary abyss.

We're most likely gonna dive again, if anyone wants to join, kindly post up your friend code here! (in-game, not the Wii console code)

And finally, here's a west indian manatee for you all to enjoy!

Yes, this game is only for 1 player.

It's pretty much a solo affair when played at home. The people around you will eventually get bored tongue.gif
