I'm wondering... is there any way that we can save attachments from our mail? or download anything from safari on our iphone?

Only image files from your mail can be previewed in the phone. Also, there IS a file download plugin for Safari via Installer, which'll allow you to download file off webpages onto a certain directory on your phone, which you can then retrieve using your PC/Mac later.
This whole matter is due to the phone's lack of 3rd party media reading capabilities. |

There's also download plugin for Safari that enables it to download audio files such as MP3. Now using iNetServices and it works on 1.1.3. playback of the file can be done on a modified SendFile app.
