Inside the bag:
OM-D E-M5 with mounted Pan 12-35 f2.8, Pan 45-175 in the centre and Oly 45 f1.8 with the small flash at the other end.
The front zipper compartment is large enough to hold the batt charger, blower, filters, handphone, etc

guys, any recommendations for a sling enuf space for 60D + a lens of EF15-85 size and space for 1 lens and flash + all those tiny stuff?

was thinking of getting another bag to fit my flash since the toploader 45aw only have enuf space for the 60D+1855mm with the flash placed on top of it (not mounted).

For sling bags, do check out Lowepro (about 350 onwards), Thinktankphoto (480 onwards) or Incase (330 onwards). smile.gif Incase comes with an iPad compartment or fits a 11" laptop smile.gif use it with my MacBook Air bro smile.gif

Slowkancil : I've about 8 bags. Wanna sell as secondhand sad.gif Got from Lowepro, Thinktankphoto, Incase, Fstop, and others...tongue.gif

Can call myself a bag expert dy tongue.gif

shukri : It's USD 89.90, roughly about RM 300. But TechGarage and some partner shops will sell it at RM 160 smile.gif (150 for a limited time)

Do read up more at

i also got BAS haha. i switched like 5-6 bags already  rclxub.gif . eventhough i got my Domke F-2, i still look at a lot of bags haha. actually when i bought my domke f-2 i thought kinda regret a bit cause cannot fit MacBook, or so the shop owner says. but when i got home to try, found out it fits perfectly tongue.gif. i still think the hadley pro looks slightly better but its kinda small for what i need so nahhh hehe.

i thought you're jajabinx haha. i visited your shop before end of last year to buy an incase ari marcopoulos from her. it looks a little too small and not really my taste hehe.
*
Ah, am not jajabinx tongue.gif

But yea, hmm, Ari a bit too small? Hehe, most complain its a bit too big for them. Sling packs best be of a certain size as being too big will make it hard to carry over a long period

Yea, I look at a lot of bags too. Tend to do it now and enter a luggage shop to check out bags and their quality. Some shopping malls think they can trick us with bad roller bags at a supposed discount sad.gif

Btw, if you like Domke, do drop by when the Millar series is in. Built with poly spun nylon for a classic feel but being very light, and having refined seat belt straps (was told that the straps costs a bit), with feather light dividers and YKK zippers and connectors, they look like your everyday old school bag (which is getting popular in Tokyo)

TG will also carry other popular brands, so it won't be brand biased, but will cater to everyone's needs

i was talking about the blue bag you posted but yeah same case also with the Ari. i think that its a little too small for me, especially with the non customizable inserts. i can't fit my 60D + 17-40 with hood attached in properly. i think its similar to the Hadley Pro, they're not really made to carry DSLR gears, more towards the m43 cameras haha. sure it can fit, but i don't think it was really designed for it, just my opinion.

anyway, i came to the conclusion that no matter what kind of bag, even with some weight reducing feature, you'll still feel the weight after awhile. with the Ari even with the so-called wide strap that's supposed to distribute the weight on your whole shoulder and this that, all i had in my bag was a 60D + 17-40 and my fisheye lens, after a few hours my shoulder started to ache already.

same with the Lowepro Slingshot 200AW, Vanguard Uprise-46, Incase Ari, and even with the Domke F-2(just the bags i used). all bags are still the same just depends which type you prefer  biggrin.gif .

haha i don't think i'll ever ever visit your shop again, sorry tongue.gif. you can ask jajabinx if she remembers me, took me 3 hours to find your shop and another 2 to get back to kl  rclxub.gif . mainly cause i'm bad with roads and to get to your shop its very confusing
*
Haha, no worries. Next time we can meet up in PJ/KL for TT or COD or shooting or whatsoever smile.gif

The 17-40’s hood is biglah. Only larger bags like the UD60 can fit, but that will kill your shoulders in the long term. I swore off big shoulder bags coz after awhile your shoulder feels like its dying sad.gif do it long term and you get health problems

Hmm, you need to try out Fstopgear's black box or mountain series backpack. I walk around all week in events with a fully loaded 20-30kg load and don't feel it. It's the holy grail of backpacks.

Previously used a Thinktank Streetwalker hard drive in Tokyo and regretted bringing so much gear on the 3rd day itself. Had a Computrekker and the same problem as well. I used to cringe when I carried a fully loaded 20 plus kilos backpack as I began to develop back problems.

You know, the kind of "crack" when you bend a bit, even without the backpack and a sharp pain? No longer have that problem now with this new one.

Grajindo : it's on http:/Fstopgear.com/product/Millar smile.gif

Fstopgear is a well known brand for comfortable bags, meaning you can carry them around without feeling the burden of the weight, especially the backpacks. They're used in US/Europe by the same photographers who use a ThinkTankPhoto modular system to shoot weddings smile.gif

One dealer tested Fstopgear's backpacks and said only Tamrac and Fstopgear knows how to make proper backpacks smile.gif

Millar series is a bit different. Made of Korean poly spun nylon, it's meant to be a fusion of old Skool meets retro. With featherlight dividers smile.gif read more and decide for yourself lah. Any bag is better than no bag smile.gif

Good stuff, except quality has been dropping recently. sad.gif and with a lot of fakes and grey sets around. Some unscrupulous shops will pass of fakes as original. smile.gif you can call up Technical Photo Systems to check. Some big name shops are surprisingly selling fakes and greys yawn.gif

Anyways, buy from a trusted seller smile.gif there's a few online. Will ensure you don't have any issues for warranty, plus that your bag doesn't suddenly breaks at the wrong places and cause your expensive gears to go as well

p/s: TechGarage is an authorised Lowepro and Manfrotto retailer smile.gif just haven't had time to list out everything, hehehe.
