without a doubt, retro 20.

Ohh okay.

Might thinking to get restro 10 or 20 for walkaround and school.

Know where can get think tank?
*
i only know camzone jaya 33, mitmivec, lefoose...
but thinktank now got no more local distro...so whatever stocks that are left...once sold then dunno how long must wait before new stock comes...which of cos depends when a new distro comes...
or just get from singapore.

my walk around bag if im not carrying telephoto is of cos my passport sling.

Thank you so much hidden830726! I just looked at the dimensions of the customary bag and i find it about the same just that the kata is thicker by 5cm which is ALOT i guess and plus minus a few cm for the length and height..

I tried the Kata in the evening and it was really comfortable i fell in love with it, just that now im deciding if this bag could be my carry on. why i choosed this bag is becuase it could fit a 70-200mm f2.8 lens mounted on the camera

I love the 7mdh but my shoulders were crying out loud with only 2 lenses 50mm 1.8g and 18-105mm nikkor lens and sb700 flash with a d7000 body, headphones from audiotechnica and 1 500ml water bottle and a few documents in it.. imagine adding another 70-200mm lens that would be another 1.5kg i think i decided to go for a backpack for the comfort and some hiking activities too..
thanks LinTao!  yea its super convinient thats why i fell in love with it but my shoulders hurt so bad after a week in hong kong and china untill i asked my girlfriend to carry the bag for me after disney land on our way back to the hotel lol!

anyone has any backpack which dimensions are bigger and have no problem fitting in the aircraft compartment at the top?
*
for backpacks that can carry 70-200 attached, i am partial to the lowepro flipside 300.
i like it cos the compartment opens from the back, rather than the front.
those paranoid ppl would like it as they dont have to worry about getting the bag pockets picked when they walk thru a big crowd.
and chances of the zip breaking and contents spilling all over the road are less compared to front opening ones tongue.gif

but for hiking etc, definitely a backpack or at least a waist pouch, tho those waist pouches that can carry 70-200 attached like the thinktank speed racer are a pain also...unless u intend to travel light.
as for messenger bags that can carry alot, thinktank retrospective 20 or 30...very nice shoulder strap.

aaa thanx! I was just going to ask a belt bag for a body with 70-200mm lens attached + 50mm, looks like u answered my question beforehand.  tongue.gif

now to look for a thinktank speed racer!

cheers!!!  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif
hurm, on second thought, came up on this http://www.thinktankphoto.com/products/dig...ster-30-v2.aspx . this is better isnt it? but i would need to this to use with the bag, http://www.thinktankphoto.com/products/pro...elt-v2-m-l.aspx .
*
depends, i dont like waist stuff.
but cheaper option there's the lowepro inverse200, or the toploader series and add on a belt.
i use either a lowepro flipside300 or thinktank retrospective 20 to carry a 70-200 attached.

This bag doesn't really get dirty easily lah. But you know what's the best thing? Even if it does get dirty (which can be washed off easily), it looks rugged and vintage. Haha. Serious.

Goodness IKKI! Will you just get it already!

It's good stuff lah. Water-resistant material and comes with designer RAIN COVER. What you want some more? Haha! When you be coming back to Malaysia?
*
are u working for techgarage?
are they like the online shop for hambone? cos all the same products.
maybe i drop by hambone one day check out the ari.

30th Nov haha!
I shortlisted a few here but im still undecided.

- Ari Marcopoulos - AUD227 expensive  sad.gif
- Crumpler 7MDH - Somehow Ari Marc. is pulling me away from this
- Manfrotto stile Unica VII - Awesome tripod compartment!!
- The newly came out Lowepro PRO Messenger - Low profile and material like Ari Marc. thing is still not on ebay or online shop yet...

Edit: the another reason for lowepro pro messenger is able to fit in DSLR with lens and grip attached!!
*
never tried the ari before, but it looks very wide.
i dont like crumpler.
manfrotto is too boxy / stiff, if thats what u like then good.

why not thinktank retro 10?
on budget, theres also vanguard pampas 25 which is somewhat similar, but distro dont want bring in anymore...so have to find old stock dunno where...also on budget can check the tamrac rally series.

Wax coating means its not washable right? as the wax might be wash away... Sry for the noob question...
*
i guess so, dunno anyone who has washed their camera bags tho.

anyway the lowepro pro messenger bags look interesting...like almost exact copies of the thinktank retro series.
price also about the same...pity only comes in that brown color for now.
