i actually been doing extensive research on this RAM thingy and no forum has been able to give a straight cut explanation on the RAM issued

I have compared the RAMs from many providers and the ones Apple provides. Everything is exactly the same up the the 5-5-5 timing cycle. Even the so called Apple RAM from Mushkin also has exactly the same specs down to the most nitty gritty level. I have done Memory benchmarking using both type of RAM in both Apple iMacs and other Notebooks and all return the same benchmarks. KVR and KTA also same result. So at the end I also give up. I don't know what is the the real deal. I have been happily swapping my RAMs from my non-Mac notebook to my iMac.

I see. So how much is the KTA RAM? I tested the one was from my friend.
