PLEASE tell me the name of the person.
Really sorry. That is wrong information from our side.

Unless they told you that normal RAM from PC store and the RAM used with Apple computers are different, then that's okay. But KTA RAM can be found at outside PC stores as well. Just make sure if you upgrade, you get KTA RAM.

I work at Machines as well, doing sales.
But I am the one who actively checks the feedback as well as the info@machines.com.my.

And by the way, there is a rebate on RAM that you purchase here, but on the older 1GB RAM, I will check for you.
However, I don't think so as it came with the machine.
But if someone says that it has been possible, I will ask to check.

Also, to add to my previous post.
We DO recommend you get KTA RAM as KVR RAM MAY not work.
So if you decide to risk it and get KVR and it works, then awesome for you.
But I tried before and it doesn't work with mine.

It's good that he was polite, but as a premium reseller, we should not be giving out wrong information. sleep.gif
I really apologize for that, and hope that this does help answer your question a bit.
