Friend, u shouldn't be worry, based on my experience, "KVR" type will do if your Mac is Intel processor. I bought my kingston KVR 2GB x 2 from Low Yat about RM350/-. They work on my : IMac and MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Intel C2Duo. But my Mac mini and PowerBook which use G4 processor, they require "KTA" RAM. KVR Ram will make these machinese freeeeeeeezeeee.
