yah so i rather spent 1k to buy my own AB + compressor and i get 100% satisfaction from all my kits! Although i am not very pro but every single kit u build from zero to 100 is like the greatest things of all!

Believe me ppl this is the joy u wont get by paying commission job! By the way if someone here set up a company that just do AB on Gundam Kit do u think got business to do or not? Just imagine JP those figure factory having thousand of artist AB their figures!
*
Haha, true true. But some kits are just too difficult (at least for me) to even assemble, let alone to paint it, such as old WAVE's FSS kit (such as their 1/100 FSS kit like LED Mirage). I have that one, but due to my own lack of skill, I'm unable to even assemble it. Now will wait till I have a job to be able to submission the kit(last time I ask erix, he quote RM600 for the price to fully assemble and paint the kit, so...)

I remember long time ago XL got one shop in S&M plaza with 3 or 2 guys in it! My fren back then (year 2001)was looking for someone to do paint job for his 1/60 v2 gundam and u knew wat those guys said they said dun have such gundam kit exist and bla bla bla about gundam kits! Back then i lol and did not said anything becoz they act like so pro!
*
I think that branch moved to BTS(or MV) lor. B4 XL has branch at MV and BTS, they used to have branch shop at S&M and another one near Wangsa Maju LRT station. Compared to that time, their branch now has more space, and more organized. However, my first time buying from XL is in its main branch in Ampang (I accidentally found it while jalan2 inside Putri Park Plaza;near my auntie's house), a GFF #1 Full Armor Gundam at RM 100. Dunno that shop is XL main branch after a year later biggrin.gif

items in ebay even though the sellers are in malaysia cannot do cod?
*
Huhu, you must mean this seller right?: http://myworld.ebay.com.my/figure_shop/
The item in his ebay store sometimes cheap, but then when include the flat-rate shipping cost, become tad expensive (sometimes the shipping cost is more expensive than the item itself). Also doubt whether the item sold there is original or not.

Haha, no way!! Actually I'll buy PS3 after I work (now still student). Plus, PS3 is no fun without big lcd/plasma TV (which require the addition of RM 2400++ more)

lol i cant agree more! He just need to sell around 13 of his PVC figure then he will get enough money to buy a PS3 along with its accesories
*
That's 86% of my figure sweat.gif Figures I have are only those that are listed in my sig. Additionally, if I sold all, still not enough to buy PS3+plasma TV tongue.gif

Plasma TV  sweat.gif ! Then u might as well work hard and wait for the bonus next year!

Meh, I'm still a student da(although this is my final semester). Hope I can get those next year smile.gif . My figurines roughly cost about RM 180 each, so RM 180*15=RM 2700; enough to buy a PS3 only

all nendroid... if buy and put at my table at office sure kena kidnap one... all my cute cute model has been kidnap... damn cute girls....

Reminds me during my industrial training last year. I brought several of my gunpla to the office to be put on my table. Then one day (on Saturday when I'm not working) the staff bring their kids to the office. The next monday, I found out that one of my MG Freedom beam saber is missing, and one part of the wing is stuck in the hole of the shield. Nasty kids~
I also assemble one of my gunpla(HG Calamity Gundam) during lunchtime there(little by little over a week). The staff there make dirty jokes about Calamity's crotch till one of the female staff ask me to remove the crotch part(which I did).
However, I dare not to bring any of my figurines there, coz the staff there I think strongly disagree with keeping figurines. I once bought Oneechanbara gashapon, and when they saw it, they say the gashapon is somewhat "lucah", coz of the panties on the gashapon. I have to kelentong them by saying that I bought the gashapon coz my friend requested it

p/s: My industrial training is at UDA Holdings(the building on top of BB Plaza, next to SgWang). I everyday go jalan2 at SgWang, Lowyat, BTS at those time (bought Calamity during Seed Competition in BTS last year)

@Exiled wah seh.. figurines also so huru-hara...

Well, keeping figurines according to Islam are actually the things that we Muslim should not do. And coz the staff there is all Muslim, and all of them isn't bujang, it will be an issue if I bring figurines to office.

BTW, Lucky Star fans might want to buy this : http://akibahobby.net/2008/02/wf2008f_maxfigma_sample.html

Huhu, the gunpla will last longer that way. In hot environment, the plastic will rot faster. Happen to my MG Freedom, which its V-fin and one of the back leg booster cover actually terkoyak (not snapped;ripped like rubber). I think that's the tradeoff by using biodegradable plastic (I assume Bandai use them)

If you registered, still need some time for their admin to approve you, since it's not an automated like most forum. I have to register about 3 times., the 3rd time I actually notify them that I had registered using the form on their e-commerce site(www.xl-shop.com), then they check it and confirm my user account there.
Dunno about now though

The kit itself didnt even require painting, but the parts are very-very tiny. Same like SRW kits also, in which every different colored section is actually a separate part (even if the parts that are different in color is very small). Eyes on SRW kits is already painted

lol forget my friend, i PM the TS straight lol

not too sure about the size of the r-gun though... =/

I think its 1/144, but some of SRW mecha is taller than Gundam.
SRW kits are expensive if compared to gunpla with similar scale coz unlike Bandai which manufacture the kit fully by machines, Kotobukiya seems to employ workers to paint some of the parts on the runner (you can see it on the SRW kit's eyes, and on Ninebreaker AC kit), which cost higher than fully manufactured by machine
