Now for Part 4 of the Dead end comparisons.
Previous parts were in V17, but here's the link to them
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3So for Part 4, I'll show the differences in the manual provided by Hasbro and the KO.
For hasbro, being typical of them, gave us a pretty simplified instructions

But for the KO, the instructions are more elaborate with better illustrations although some of the transformation is out of sequence or is not necessary.
The are 2 parts for the KO, Car to robot, robot to car unlike hasbro which says "reverse order to go back to car mode".

A closer look of the car to robot instructions for the KO

Robot to car

I would say that the Ko instructions are alot easier to understand than Hasbro's one. Hasbro's instructions tend to have transformations that need some guesswork as to which part should you twist, turn or even disengage b4 you start the transformation. A simple comparison can be seen during the initial transformation of car to robot mode. In hasbro's version, you straight away pull out the front part of the car and move the windscreen to form the legs. In the KO, it showed that you need to disengage the door frame from the front part of the car BEFORE pulling out the legs. Chances of breaking the ori dead end seems likely when reading Hasbro's instructions.
Then when transforming back to car mode, the KO instructions tell how to fold back the hands and arrange them to fit in the boot. I actually had to refer to the KO instructions when transforming back to car mode coz the hasbro's one didn't tell me exactly how the hands are suppose to be folded in the boot.
That ends my comparison between Ko dead end and Ori Dead end alt. I dunhave the BT dead end, but I assume that most of the similarities are there. As for price, the KO costs only RM 50 while the ori costs RM 136.25 (GORENG!!!! ARRGHH KENA SCREWED!!

). I bought the Ko from one of those small toy shops found throughout BTS.
