My lecturer was cleaning up the trash today when I spotted some mags that he threw out
I picked them and began reading and it was an eye opener reading old PC magazines like BYTE when Intel first churn out their 486 proc or when Windows 95 was still new and it was bashed by everyone. Thus i have an idea where we can have a place to share out these kinds of magazines to teach some of the new generations the PC of old. Heck, I bet some of them never even used a baud modem or a 10MB/s LAN before.
To avoid controversy we can make the rule that the mag must be more than 10 years old or such.

Most items would have their copyright expire after almost 3/4 a century... Should we wait THAT long? LOL.

If we post copyrighted material, it would be directly violating the RnR in the first place.

how about citing the source, most forums allow that and LYN too. as long as posters cite the source, they can pretty much share anything

I don't mind emailing the original writer to ask for permission, and I doubt they mind for something that old

I emailed the mag so we will know the result if they will allow it or not

great idea.. its hard to find those old magazines nowadays..i haven even seen one that is 5 years old...
