QUOTE(Thrust @ Aug 2 2008, 09:40 AM) Does the 100Hz LCD TV makes a lot of difference if compared to the ordinary 60Hz panel??? Be careful about 100hz Lcd panel. I read a review which says that it makes the picture look very amateurish. For me I would prefer just the regular 60hz panel. After all bluray movies are only 24fps and fast moving pictures are suppose to have motion blur to look like fast moving. 100hz tends to make the fast moving picture look static therefore not giving you the sense of motion. I guess that is why the reviewer says 100hz Lcd panel tends to make pictures look amateurish. This post has been edited by lightning69: Aug 6 2008, 05:19 PM

QUOTE(rx330 @ Aug 11 2008, 09:39 PM) ya, tats me fullHD is superficial to me but how much of your source gonna be in fullHD? Why don't you stick with standard defination. That is where most of the source is....astro, dvd, vcd, etc. Added on August 12, 2008, 1:29 pmQUOTE(megatron007 @ Aug 11 2008, 09:41 PM) if u feed rubbish in then rubbish out also pointless what about 1080P beauty in 1080P beauty out!!! If I only have 20% of my source in fullhd, i will still go for full hd especially larger screen because I want to be future proof. This post has been edited by lightning69: Aug 12 2008, 01:29 PM

QUOTE(gundamalpha @ Dec 24 2008, 10:26 AM) I think you are going to love this, avoid Sony IMHO And I think it's better to ask in the dedicated pinned HDTV FAQ I have been trying to find reviews on the sharp but there is not a single review on the web.
