Hello guys. I'm from JB. I asked one shop and the salesman quoted me the price of Sony 32" KLV-32S400A as RM2,350. Is it a good deal?

Hello guys, can you help me? I just bought a new LCD TV 32" S400A. After connecting it to my ps3, it wont switch to 720p. Just 576p. I've done the reset display thing by holding the power button longer.

I suspect my HDMI cable la. Because it's a capalang RM30 one. Got this kind of problem or not for any of you s400a users?

Added on May 27, 2008, 9:55 pmAnyone from JB got extra HDMI cable for me to borrow for awhile?

Don't think its the el-cheapo hdmi cables, 20bucks hdmi cable from play-asia works like charm too. You could always try other hdmi cable to confirm it
*
That's what i'm going to do tomorrow. Try borrow the tv shop's hdmi cable and see.

QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ May 27 2008, 10:45 PM)
erm..have you tried checking the TV's settings?
maybe got a setting to enable 720p?
*
hm.. donno lah.. havent finish reading the manual yet. hehe. you can get 720p on ps3?

I bought mine for RM2,300. You can probably get it for RM2,200 or less right now. But not it Sony Shops la. They retail is for RM2,499 IINM.

I'm using it primarily for my PS3 games, a little of BD movies and connecting it to my PC via VGA for some Xvid movies also. So far, not complaints from me yet. It's what I expect from the lowest line in the Bravia Series. Its image quality needs a little tweaking (contrast/backlight/color temp) to achieve the best output but that normally depends on your eyes I guess. LOL

It's at best you go to the shop, test them for yourself. I could've picked the V-series but considering the price difference, I opted for the much less fancy S-Series. As long as it gets the job done for me smile.gif

if youre going for samsung 32" , try to look for their Series 4. Some say it's good
