I bought this KLV32S400A, RM 2350 at Sen Heng, design looks nice, but when playing fast game like CoD4 and Forza 2 the ghosting is just terrible, I feel like wanna puke. Games like GTA4, Ace combat or PGR4 is fine though.

I guess I'm too used with my Samsung 22" 2ms monitor.

If you went to Sony website, it doesn't say how fast the response time for this TV, I wonder how fast you need to play game with minimal ghosting effect?

Under 6ms GTG. But really, don't compare it with a 2ms GTG monitor.

I guess this Sony is 8ms, I have a feeling.

Should have bought this one: http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/detail/...=LN32A450C1DXZA

Anyways, no use cry over spilt milk, gonna save more money and get 32" 1080P, either Samsung or LG.

Hi all, i have trouble finding a good LCD. Been going to electrical shop a lot of times but still cannot make up my mind. Can you provide some suggestions?

I m looking for a 40"/42" FullHD LCD at less than RM6k, prefarably under 5k.

I have been looking at Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, Toshiba and Samsung but juz don understand which one is better or worse.

Thanks.biggrin.gif

If i'm not mistaken LG 40" 1080P is at around 4.3k, not sure the exact model though because I saw it at Carefour.

i believe what ever u want to buy... believe ur eyes...

I believe in specs, for example the Phillips 32" LCD has a nice design with 33k contrast ratio, but with 8.5ms, that's not good enough for games with high FPS icon_rolleyes.gif

any comments on those Samsung LED TV? looks tempting, thinking of upgrading my 32" LCD to 40".

Added on March 30, 2010, 7:08 pmHoly crap, I went to SenHeng, 40" LED is at 5.6k, that's nearly double of the regular 40" LCD, might have to settle down with the regular LCD at the moment.

Hi guys,

I've tried scanning through this thread but I cannot find an answer. I'm planning on buying a HDTV for my Wii.

I know Wii output is 480p (with correct cables) but HDTV is either 720 or 1080, so the upscalling will cause a phenomenon called "input lag".

This will cause problems on timing specific games like Guitar Hero and fighting games.

Are there any brands/model series out there which can handle this problem?

Thank you.

I don't know where you heard about this "input lag" from, I have a Wii connected to 32" HDTV, there's no upscale going on, it's connected at 480p with component cable.
