AmaD: I think that u have 2 go around and look for yourself. Dont mean to be rude its just that everyone has a different perspective or brand loyalty when asked. I faced the same question like you b4 I purchased my LCD TV. BUT b4 we start..what is your budget as this will most likely determine the selection available.

p/s: I bought a 32" Samsung Series 4 LCD TV based on feedback from lowyat and some research online.

Here is the link on cnet.

Hope it can help you and anyone out there looking for 32" LCD TV.

ikan_semilang: Saw it at KLCC LG shop. The fella was playing PGR3 on it. Maybe it was just me but the colors looked washed out when he was playing the same and some minor ghosting. And the sound produced was too muffled for me.

Note : This is just my 2 cents on it.

ikan_semilang : Colors are vibrant for the ps3 and 360 I set the output to 1080P and downscale to what resolution the LCD is capable of. Noticeable difference is colors. 720P will get better colors but the images are not as sharp. Sadly the sound produced by the LA32A450C1 is only marginally better than LG or Toshiba Regza.

(OT)
There is an audio out from the LCD TV so I hooked it up to my Speakers and Sub-Woofer unit.

NOTE: The LA32A450 speakers are down firing and are reflected to the back of the LCD TV compared to other manufacturers.

AmaD: I recommend you to go to harvey norman or best denki then u see for yourself what kidda display you like. Having said that these are a few which you can fit into your budget. HOWEVER this selection is wallet priority. U need to do some diggin and shopping to make the final decision

Sharp LCD TV LC32BX5M : est (1,899.00) note contrast ratio
Toshiba Regza LCD TV 32AV500E : est (2,099.00)
Samsung LA32A330J1 : est (RM 2,199.00) Series 3
Sharp AQUOS LCD TV LC32A33M : est (2,199.00)

Might be off budget
Samsung 32'' LCD TV LA32A450C1 : est (2,499.00) Series 4
Sony Bravia LCD TV KLV-32V300A : est (2,699.00)

and just for the Fun of it
Samsung 32'' LCD TV LA32A550P1R : est (3,499.00) Series 5

Heya peeps,

I have decided to get the Samsung Series 5 C430. Its excellent !! It has some of the features like the sony EX series.. ambient light sensor.. but the best part is that it has a usb outlet. Plays MPS, Pictures and movies.

and yes it can play MKV files...tested and confirmed = )))

So if anyone is looking out for Full HD 32" dont give this model a miss..
