definitely is your cable...me too using ps3 with lg 32 inch (lglc7)....then go lowyat computer shop buy ciplak hdmi cable(regret) for rm50.. can get anything more than 576p... done the system reset and anything i can think off..then go buy new hdmi cable VERSION 1.3 with label ziraffe(gold platted) on the connector...and thing turns fine..even can select 1080p as output with no problem...version 1.1 hdmi cable gives u headache

typo... should be can't get more than 576p...if select 720p 1080i and 1080p the screen flicking on and offversion 1.1 hdmi cable gives u headache
