RM1.9k is really cheap for a Panny 32lz800 (if it's a new set). Please share the place so I can run screaming to the shop to buy one. I'm not kidding.

I haven't seen a 40" LCD (at any price) that looks good without a blu-ray feed.

Motion on the Aquos 32a53m is very nice and smooth, very natural looking. I did not like the motion blurs I saw on the Sony V-series and the vibrant colors hurt my eyes after about 15 mins or so (Love the design, though).
So many LCDs... so little money... *sigh* |

QUOTE(welwitchia @ Aug 14 2008, 02:31 PM) I second rx330. I guess I'm one of those trolls... Samsung sucks but u know what? Sony kinda sucks too but I wont be like the trolls in the other thread and say "Panasonic PV80 FTW!!" But hey, that's audiophile and this is consoles, so everything has it's own place. |

Better post in Audiophile for a better and quicker answer. HDTV stuff is more active there. There are also some forum members there who are sellers with good advice, service and price.

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Aug 25 2008, 10:39 AM) Even in stock clearance areas, it doesn't seem to be going down that much. lowest I've seen so far is around 1300. With a budget of under 1k you're probably better off getting a good second-hand 34" Panasonic or Sony CRT (with 100hz). It'll be a lot, LOT better than trying to use an ultra-budget LCD TV (with ghosting, view angle and contrast issues). It still amazes me how good my old CRT looks compared to my LCD TV. Just got poisoned on PV80, but should i also go for a LCD Tv for PS3? Cuz if that's the case, I'm gonna be dead broke. |
