Depends what you intend to play, if your sources aren't FHD then HD Ready would be a better choice (money and PQ wise). And if you can wait then of course it would be better, since the prices will drop for sure.

Most PS3 games are HD Ready, but then of course you'd get some FHD games here and there.

Is 8ms response time good enough for gaming ? Do u think it'll be a problem with upcoming games ?
*
That's pretty bad.. expect lots of "ghostings"

Sounds like LCD suits you better.. and both of them are very different, the panel difference is already very obvious.

No black bar because it's stretched to 16:10, something not everyone can accept.

The Samsung TV is the LED Tv and I think it 720P. yesterday when I see it beside the LCD tv, both show the football match and I see the LED TV show more sharp and clear compare to the LCD tv beside it. This make me Think twice

That's the only thing that matters.

Minimum should be 60Hz, unless the series 5 runs for PAL display only

Hey guys I just wanted to ask what's the difference between 1080i and 1080p. Which one is better. I know 1080p has interlaced pictures (whatever that means) and 1080i isn't interlaced. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Is there a great significant difference between 1080i & 1080p?
*
Remember 1 thing, all flat panel displays will deinterlace any interlaced sources, make sure the displays' engines can deinterlace them properly instead of creating a blurry mess. And deinterlacing may add delays, something noteworthy when playing timing critical games.
