guys, im thinking of getting Panasonic 42X28K Plasma Tv to pair with my xbox360. For RM 2000, would this be a good choice.

Aside from gaming, i would like to use it for Astro and some divx movie viewing.

hi, i am a newbie here & need some help.

I have samsung LCD TV model LA40A550P1R

I am looking for a firmware update and can't find one. The similar models like LA40C550 can play movies from USB harddrives directly. My LA40A550P1R cannot.

Any friend here can help ? thanks.

Hey guys I just wanted to ask what's the difference between 1080i and 1080p. Which one is better. I know 1080p has interlaced pictures (whatever that means) and 1080i isn't interlaced. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Is there a great significant difference between 1080i & 1080p?

1080i - 'i' stand for interlaced - normally for HDTV
1090p - 'p' stand for progressive - means FULL HDTV - basically better and superior picture than HDTV.

more at What is full HDTV

I am looking for one myself. below are prices I compiled - searching online - for 32 inches Full HDTV -

Brand Model Price From
LG LG32LD460 1699 courts
Philip 32PFL3605 1799 courts
Philip 32PFL5605 2399 courts
LG LG32LD420 1699 Sen heng
Sony KLV43EX400 1999 carefour

but i bet other shops will sell them cheaper.

Remember 1 thing, all flat panel displays will deinterlace any interlaced sources, make sure the displays' engines can deinterlace them properly instead of creating a blurry mess. And deinterlacing may add delays, something noteworthy when playing timing critical games.

Hi guys, i just placed an order for a Sharp Quattron LC40LE820M.
I am not really good in TVs and I'm worrying a bit.

Have i made a good choice?
Can someone perhaps break it down for me about how will this TV do for my PS3 gaming?
