Minimum should be 60Hz, unless the series 5 runs for PAL display only

really not sure. cause official spec sheet at samsung's website says the TV only supports up to 50Hz. will be doing some shopping later to see some and probably price hunting. LG seems tempting as well.

can i connect my ALTEC LANSING speaker(3.5mm jack) to PS3 or XBOX to play the sound through my altec Lansing??

I have the similar model. What you can do is to connect your ps3 to the speaker indeed.
PS3 --HDMI--> TV for Visual
PS3 --RCA--> Altec Lansing for Audio

but the problem is my speaker of ALtec lansing dont have RCA for me to plug. It only got 1 3.5mm audio jack

im using sony 32" EX300 series http://www.sony.com.my/product/klv-32ex400 and it got 1 headphone out using 3.5mm audio jack on the left side of it.

some more u can enjoy 1080p full hd (1920 x 1080) compare to the BX300 series the resolution is only hd ready (1366 x 768)

I just bought my new PS3. I have sharp TV (model: LC37A66M) with full HD support bought last year only. I got a PS3 and hooked it up to my Sharp 37 inch LCD tv using an HDMI cable. I have blinking or blank screen issues and can return to normal and play a while blicking happen again and sometimes the screen go blank and up again. I try the same HDMI cable to my xbox, no problem. So it is not HDMI cable issue I think. And I don't think it PS3 problem either since the shop has demo to me before selling the unit to me. The strange thing is my TV and xbox don't have this issues. So is PS3 or Sharp TV issue??

guys, juz bought a PHILIPS-32PFL5605S for my PS3
but now im having trouble outputting 1080p to the tv althou the spec is saying that the tv can support up to 1920x1080p, 24, 25, 30, 50, 60 Hz

Any solution to this?

u mean when set ps3 display , tick all resolution from 576p to 1080p, then at tv screen become blank or saying input not suported ?

juz found out the problem, my hdmi cable is faulty cos i tried with my fren's cable and no problem occurs.

i like Toshiba! It's one of the most awesome series i'd tested recently,it's also one of the nicest playing the ASTRO too eventho' it's an LCD!
I tried the ZV series , fuuuuyoooohhh~ i was so so surprised @ was impressed indeed. Not talking bout other series tho'. In my humble opinion, it suits me more than samsung LED. I had headaches after playing my PS3 a while on Samsung LED! Depends on users tho'..

dude, the 32PFL5605 is the LED rite? how much bought & where? Planning to get it too, but hesitating coz not sure its good or not since it seems 2b cheapest LED Got any picture displaying PS3 games on ur LCD...wanna share?

also looking at Sony Bravia 32Ex400...but skeptical about its spec, since nothing mentioned about contrast ratio and response time and not sure Sony LCD can last or not cost...its a Sony
