file transfer is still slower than XP, but still more reliable as it uses direct IO instead of caching. all things seems to load faster too

They changed the way Remote Desktop works. Now more secure and you can block what remote desktop can or cannot do like copying something to and from the clipboard from both PC

i can download the OEM installer (vista+SP1) if you want, but the speed was soooooooo slow that I stopped the download T.T
tell you what, I download this and you send me the ISO for EVA :awe: Added on March 20, 2008, 8:10 pm QUOTE(CZero @ Mar 20 2008, 07:42 PM) Ceh Teracopy is gay. I found that it copies more slowly the more high end the PC is. And heck. Vista is better as it don't use disk cache but instead direct IO for copying. Slower yes, but there will be no corrupted filesNeway, the other thing I discover is 1. A noticeable faster copy/cut paste speed, but I prefer using 3rd party software like TeraCopy more. 2. The deleting speed doesn't improved at all. 3. I got a short delay whether I open up Computer. 4. UAC pop up faster. 5. Slower shutting down speed. WTF? I think I need to fresh install my Vista back and update everything before I start installing application and games. PS : Hey, my 200th post! QUOTE(kurogane @ Mar 20 2008, 08:14 PM) MS website. You have to become an OEM partner with them (I registered under my varsity's name) and get the link from easyzudin's post. But they won't let you use direct download, which is gay as I can use direct download on beta testing page. But there are no ISO for beta testers T.T |
