Upgraded using the standalone. Everything seems fine except battlefield 2, kept crashing mid-game, till i re-installed the drivers for my 8800gts. All's good now.

Hmmm. Not sure if it's because of the SP1, but COD4 demo can't run on my pc now. LOL.

QUOTE(vincentlaw @ Mar 23 2008, 12:03 AM) its best using windows update.... Mmmm. Are you refering to the demo as well? Because I am. I suppose if you have the full version then maybe you're patched or something. I don't know. I looked a bit online, seems COD4 sometimes have issues with RealTek on board audio drivers, so I guess maybe that's the problem, and as this is the demo I'm talking about, there's no fix. haha. Added on March 23, 2008, 12:04 am ive no problem on mine after update.... i used Windows update... so far not a single problem.... i wonder why u all have so much problem... try not to use the standalone installer... and update everythg from windows update before upgrading to sp1... thats at least wat i did.... coz im using ori vista... |
