Sup guys,

i've got a question on the ressellers whereabouts in Kuala Lumpur.

Im looking to get maybe 3 - 4 MacBook Air
and
3-4 of MacPros (pretty high end specs)

If i can get a couple of resellers numbers so i can get the quotes from would be awesome.

I hope u guys can help me here.

thanks for your time.

@zarnall,
Are u looking for a retailer or service provider? Apple prices are quite fixed; u probably can get it a little cheaper at the retail outlets but i don't think they'll come to ur office and get it setup and do frequent maintenance. You gotta check with them.

Alternatively, U can always get the information off Apple's website - it's all there smile.gif

thanks tinker,

of course ive been to applestore.com first before asking you guys :-), its jsut maybe i could get a deal on the prices if i ask a couple of diff resellers.

thanks though, if u say the price is kinda fixed then its no use for me to try to get other contact numbers and jsut go to the main office in damansara i suppose.

thanks again.

ps : the malaysian version of the apple website LOADS slower than the US version, its kinda pathetic imo. /shrug

@zarnall,
Apple 'HQ' @ Damansara Heights don't sell machines to end users like us - they'll refer u back to an authorised reseller; and there are 2 separate ones; retailers like Machines & Mac City as well as Service Providers.

Generally, the retailers are able to offer more bundles as compared to the Service Providers - that, at least is my opinion smile.gif

Hey xaw, is Mac City accepting pre-orders for the MBA as of now? RM6299, I presume? Either way, don't you guys have any idea when exactly it's arriving on our shores? Or is that info under an NDA too? (funny, MBA and NDA rhyme tongue.gif)

Haha, i bet, i need to get wat they are having too i suppose lol.

Thing is they are the designers team, rather than the IT support team. I guess the specs must have been specified by them jsut on a whim rather than really looking on to the Apple Store site lol... anywya thank for pointing that out for me.

Im glad that you forum dudes are so kind and helpful to a noobie like meh!

@zarnall,
Sure sounds like a brand new creative shop coming up - not many invest in such heavy equipments and when change does need to come, not all computers are changed at the same time smile.gif

Anyhow, if u do get it from Machines, can I please please please have that Machines membership card? *grins*

You haven't mentioned about getting softwares; i assume u would need Adobe CS3 + that Font software; forgot the name, Extensis or something ? smile.gif
