Hey guys...I just got conditional offer from UNSW for computer engineering. I have a question. Initially, I applied for the semester 2 intake, but after i submitted my application, I changed my mind so I emailed them to ask them to change to semester 1 2009 intake. In the offer they gave me, it's the semester 1 2009 intake. However, I think they forgot to change some of the other details, like guardianship letter which is required if it was the semester 2 2008 intake since my birthday is on the 6th october, but is not required for semester 1 2009.

Anyway the main thing is, they said I have to reply them by August 10 to gurantee a place. Isn't that a little early? Although I made a direct application to UNSW, I checked the UAC website and the applications for semester 1 2009 isn't even open yet. So how come I have to reply so early? Or was it based on my earlier semester 2 2008 applicatoin? Hope I dont sound confusing...

Edit: On another note, is it possible to opt for a combined engineering/commerce degree instead of the single degree once I get there or do I have to apply for it beforehand? The website isn't very clear on it and I'm lazy to email them...

IDP was pretty helpful in the beginning. But after helping me to apply for UniSA and receiving my CoE, they totally ignored my emails after that. =/
