For your information, there are only 4 university offering actuarial studies courses. They are Macquarie University(Sydney), ANU(Canberra), UNSW(Sydney), and Melbourne U. The best is Macquarie U, no doubt. If you are interested, then only I explain to you why it is.

Apply for PR? You can calculate if you gain enough points. Normally, people who have just graduated from Australian U will have just enough points to apply PR. If you want to work part time, you have to apply a tax file number and a working visa first. It costs you AUD60. You can work 20 hours per week at most.
