Depending on your location, I used to use Unwired, very good connection around the city and mostly zone 1.
I deem it the best as you do not have to lock into a contract, and you get 7 days trial, if you are unhappy they refund you your money.
The modem is pricy, but students normally sell theirs at a low price on the uni intranet place

Yea, in the Bayside area. It's still alright, I know lots of people complaining about the z1+2 and would rather drive up to z1 to park their vehicles before taking the train. but...nah, not for me.
But Connex sure is getting lots of complaints...very bad service during peak hr.
This morn they stopped the city loop, something happened at Melb Central.
I would rather complain about the hse interest rates.
