In Queensland a quick glance shows that most university applications open in late Sept/Oct. But check individual universities. Application open and closing dates, while similar, are usually not uniform.

For your information, there are only 4 university offering actuarial studies courses. They are Macquarie University(Sydney), ANU(Canberra), UNSW(Sydney), and Melbourne U. The best is Macquarie U, no doubt. If you are interested, then only I explain to you why it is.

Apply for PR? You can calculate if you gain enough points. Normally, people who have just graduated from Australian U will have just enough points to apply PR. For A-level, Math is enough. Although accounting n economics are not formal prerequisites, it is recommended to take these subjects so that you won't struggle during your first year.
