i think he meant in depth details xD

I remembered that my actual result is better than my forecast. My school gave us a 'forecast result' by giving us a full assessment =.= and the 'forecast' is based on the marks we got back then.

Ya lah what to do scaling mah. Even in uni also you can see scaled marks especially super hard subjects. Just check your exam paper after your results are out and you be amazed on how the hell you managed to pass, when you actually know deep down you've failed. Haha just my piece of opinion.

IDP was pretty helpful in the beginning. But after helping me to apply for UniSA and receiving my CoE, they totally ignored my emails after that. =/

No money earn who want to care vmad.gif

Give them many many calls and continue email them. For housing wise, you better search your uni website. Actually, they don't know anything. They just like 3rd party. So better ask your uni directly rather than ask someone else to pass the message. tongue.gif

why are you responding to a 8 month old post?

in any case, agents like idp help you secure an offer of a course, but not accommodation, beyond their scope..........

If you require an agent to look up places for you to stay you probably need to pay more. It's better to look for your own.

I didn't know that IDP can get you in a university without passing IELTS(my housemate came to Aus through IDP and he didn't need to sit for IELTS), shit i wasted RM 520. What i heard is the service was pretty good. But once you get your eCoE i think you no longer need their help applying for Visa and doing medical check-up are just pieces of cake.

idp cannot get you a place without ielts, if that is required by the university......

there are waivers for ielts for international students, particularly if the pre-u qualification used to apply is conducted in english......eg a-levels, sam etc......check with the relevant uni what their official policy is........

Probably he did SAM's English paper or something.

I dont think the Aus uni will let you in without any English qualifications.

If you got SPM 1119 Certificate with a grade C6 and above you would not have to sit IELTS though or some english qualifications during A-lvls or SAM or 1 year of studies at uni

not all unis will accept 1119........c6 is actually a poor grade, for the purpose of academic pursuits........ielts is a reliable assessment because it contains the full 4 components of any language........reading, writing, speaking, listening.....and the academic ielts (cf general) contains specific components for academic use of english, which is quite different from general communication english......

Dude; i`m not sure; but currently with the EST applied into education system; there is no IELTS required wink.gif
But for me; if you have the time to take IELTS; it will be better.

Huh?Where did you get that?

Im from the SPM batch with EST plus 1119.Aus uni representative say they only accept IELTS and a few other exams like TOEFL.1119 and EST is not in the list.

If not,why am i so free to waste RM500 on IELTS?
