QUOTE(Persona3 @ May 15 2008, 03:37 AM) hi, everyone study in Tasmania ? I'm going there on this coming July to further my studies. Any advise for newbie here ? I'm a bit nervous here since I'm going alone Welcome to tassie... Which part of tassie will you be staying? Hobart or Launceston? I think that you need to prepare winter clothes as here temp will drop till 0 degree... get thermal wear if scare of cold. bring some m'sian food(maggie mee at here is damm expensive & you cant get the same taste as in m'sia) if u want to know more anything can pm me.. |

QUOTE(jakesean @ May 16 2008, 08:00 PM) ooo.. since dun haf the free promo then i think i rather pay rm200 extra to get the xxl seat, or whatever that seat is called.. hehe.. much more space, n less people around = more comfy.. still cheaper than other airlines.. I was thinking what the condition of airasia of airbus? i mean that just sit in the plane & sleep then wake up already reach mel or perth? Sitting in plane for 8hrs, is not a a small matter man.. is it comfortable on airasia? |

If you can come during winter time, i think that you might need to get alot of supply as during winter time, you would prefer stay at home..
At here, Laussie, last nite was -2 degree.. .this morning was 2 degree ONLY~@... |

U can use bubble wrap.. wrap more layers, then find a better box. Well, u use other courier servicer beside POX lAMBAT. (if you mind to pay more)
If you have worries, why don't buy hard disk at here.. then download.. I know tat here got bandwidth limit. Im not sure whether you can download at uni. if you have unlimited download available.. u can use rapid share or megaupload// |

QUOTE(Cheesenium @ May 29 2008, 02:15 PM) Im still using Office 2000.Not ori one. Well, i don't think they will check, cause just imagine how many people on the plane to Aus, & how many officers are there working at the same time? (if 1 laptop need 10 min for 1 officer, 100 users = 1000min(16hrs +-) ) I really doubt that they gonna check every single software in your com. I have like 10+ games,Maple,AutoCAD and the list goes on. How are they going to check all of them?I even have an ori game that it like a pirated game. You dont even need to touch the CD Key at all.How are they going to differentiate the pirated copy and the original copy of that game? If they are so concern about piracy, they might as well block BT since most people just download softwares from there. Aiyo at here, they won't block p2p, even block. u have smth called VPN. I ISO all my necessary software like OS, OFfice, adobe product, autodesk software... then the rest all store in my portable hard disk where i put inside my check in luggage. Added on May 31, 2008, 8:36 pm QUOTE(kumahachi @ May 29 2008, 04:04 PM) Why don't u try to see Office works or d*** & smith.. they have promotion on hard disk.. i think is quite okie.. even m'sia might be cheap... I'll start to get product from m'sia to sell at here... but now is peak period, doing it after final.. This post has been edited by mwkh_hope: May 31 2008, 08:36 PM |
