sqwerk2, yeah, so nice of you... At least she has made you aware of the situation and you shared the story here to educate others with advices from forumers...
Yeah, nowadays, most of the people who are very "ham sap" / pervert in buses are not Malaysians... very scary...
Also, once I was walking around masjid jamek... there was this Indian apek was walking opposite my direction... As he walked pass me, he held my hand for few seconds, and I terkejut... then he let go... I was like "what the f***!!!"... I turned around to look at him, but he kept on walking straight... I felt like taking my shoes off and throwing them to him! That was like long long time ago lah...
Once I was in this KTM, quite crowded but still got a bit space for each person standing lah... Got this guy's hand huyang-hayang just right behind my butt (not yet reached my butt)...
Because I prefer to avoid things before they happen... What I did was, I warned him like casually lah... "Please jaga your hands ah... dont let it go somewhere it should not go ok"... Then the guy really jaga his hands... If not he can molest me then say "oh sorry that was accident"...
Usually what I would do if the bus has got few empty seats, it depends on where I get the bus from... If i know, for the rest of the destinations, not many people would go catch the bus, then I would choose the empty seats... If not I would try to seat next to a lady... This is because I saw some guys tend to seat next to innocent looking girls, padahal, there were several empty seats left... how come tak duduk kat tempat kosong, mau duduk next to girl... And some guys would try to sit very very close to girls to "eat tofu" (take advantage)... and girls would just allow it...
Well maybe you can put your bag in the empty seat next to you to prevent the guy from sitting next to you then angkat it when you want someone else to sit next to you... Or if you want to let the guy sit but not wanting to be taken advantage, you either stand, sit somewhere else or himpit him inside meaning let him sit near the window instead cuz then you can shift over abit when you think he sits too close to you...
You could hold a pembaris besi in your hand to show him that you will not think twice to hit him if he starts something fishy...
I also spoken to some friends who had similar experience everywhere not only in the bus... they all said, dont be afraid to shout at the guy... people might be staring at you... and you might feel a bit embarassed but dont be embarassed cuz you are not wrong for your confrontation... It is to protect yourself from further damage, emotionally and mentally...
Some people might also help you, you never know...
In LRT, if I find myself uncomfortable in the crowd, I will instantly find somewhere else to stand... dont want him to eat my tofu...!
Pervert lah... why so many pervert guys nowadays?

Have seen some perverts brushing the hands on the body and skin purposely (walked behind the girls so closely when there were spaces behind them)... but the girls did not notice maybe they think oh pasar malam is like this, very crowded one... if kena oso accident only...
