Agreed. We could use a nice icon, with the iPhone 1.1.3's new bookmarking abilities.

It helps..but didn't look quite nice though. You need to have those two icons on a preferably black or white background on a 57x57 size.. I guess? and you need the admin to help put it on the home directory as apple-touch-icon.png...

edit : note any graphic artists out there making one take into account that safari somehow clips alot of the edges so leave some blank space at the sides and tops and bottoms.. unless you want the icon to completely fill the 'button'... the reflections and all that done by safari..

Come on Lowyat admin! Not many sites have custom webclip icons yet!! We can be one of the first few malaysian sites to have it! (the organization I work for I've made a webclip for it liao LOL.. FIRST!) (www.myren.net.my)

PSD file. You can resize it easily.

The thing is, whenever you use your iphone and you bookmark it as a 'webclip', it looks at the site's home URL + apple-touch-icon.png file. Example it needs to find this file at http://forum.lowyat.net/aple-touch-icon.png

The problem with things like Clipalizer.. I don't know.. it sorta stores a pseudo-link at clipalizer.com followed with some random numbers that eventually points to lowyat.. don't think I'd like to be tracked this way (like webclip.us.. not sure if clipalizer is like that.. but oh well I'll just not put a webclip then i'm fine with just a regular bookmark)
