if u do open joint ac, make sure its "BOTH TO SIGN" and not "either one to sign" else if ur bf run away, he can withdraw the $$. So anytime if u wanna withdraw $$ it'll need both of u to sign then can withdraw.
There'r pros & cons for joint acc.
