Hi,
I am curious if I can find people here, which are interested in arcade games, old computer and all that stuff.
I already collected a lot and brought it all to KL from my home country. In my living room I have a arcade cabinet and around 90 games for it (Galaga, Donkey Kong, Raiden, Time Pilot Gyruss, NeoGeo Titles, ...). My thaught was the some people here having the same hobby. The arcade in malaysia are still alive, in germany they are all dead.
Beside the arcade cabinet I collected the well known classics like SNES, Atari VCS2600, Dreamcast, ... The home computers are never been famous here. Sometimes I am playing on a Commodore 64 or AMIGA 2000. Miss shops to buy Dreamcast or SNES games.
What classics do you own?

Its not that much space necessary for the arcade stuff. The cab is using some space, but the games are like a PC mobo. So you can store in two or three bigger boxes already a lot.
Never owned a ATARI ST but a interesting system as well. Possible to play the arcade games on a PC too using Mame. But I like the real feeling. Created a project using a PC connected to the arcade cab and be able to use emulation, instead of the original games (www.pc2jamma.org). But for the arcade stuff I still prefer the original arcade board.

I like the old classics games but don't think i got enough space / money to keep them. Don't have the luxury life to own these during my younger age.. T__T
Using emulator to play them is the next best thing i can do. However, with Vista and XP coming out, rarely get emulator to work properly.
