i had an e220 stolen while i was on the bus to jb last week. i have not told maxis yet, they want 800rm for replacement. if i buy this can i get a replacement SIM from maxis?

i already subscribed to celcom broadband rm98 for my handphone sim card. found out phone battery drained very very fast when phone used as modem. hence, i would like to buy a dedicated modem (usb or data card). would like to hear ur recommendation & best price on a modem for my laptop acer 4920g & ferrari 1100 (i'm lookin at e160g now). pls pm or sms me 013-9224747.

 Does unlocked unit effect broadband speed? For example. Maxis broadband modem locked unit used with Maxis broadband SIM compared to unlocked broadband modem unit used with Maxis broadband SIM, which one is faster or there is no different at all? Bcoz i just bought SIM only to avoid contract tied, now looking for modem wondering want to buy Celcom compliment HSDPA modem or unlocked HSDPA modem  FYI: Using Celcom D98 USIM.
