Please advise what is current price for tiling work (include all materials to cement and labor, I buy own tiles) for flooring.
I have tried hard to search such info over the internet, no good luck at all.

For amount bigger than RM5k, what can I do when the contractor refused to repair the defects and demand final payment?

In the quotation, there was an item called "Contingency Sum : being 5% downside risk estimates that make allowance for the additional costs"

The contractor has demanded full payment of this amount without giving me any details.
Do we have to pay this as there were no contingency events during the renovation? Could I use this to pay for the minor addon jobs ?
