Hi

I appreciate a rough estimate on:

1. extend ground floor area about 800 sq ft, with slab ceiling and roof (for future double storey upgrade). reasonable window about 3 window points

2. hack wall to make way to the extended area. 2 points: 1) living hall to extended area 2) kitchen to extended area

3. basic tiling on the extended area

4. wall painting

5. 10 power plug points

6. 5 ceiling lighting/fan points

Note: no plumbing works involved. No plaster ceiling. No room to be built.

Is single floor.. and my 2nd floor is build new..
Mine is single storey become double storey.. extension at behind too

I look back my quotation and calculate the wet wrok part.. then i get Rm180/sf which include installation tiles and some window item.. i think should depends what your contractor try to giving u..

I search 3diff.. price cheaper and did quite nice.. should be this guy.. do everything to me..

That headroom at staircase enough? Looks hazardous to hit your head. What do you need that 2 ft space for?

Rm 5 / sq ft? This is so depressing, a contractor quoted something like Rm 27 per sq ft. because he will ‘level the floor’ before laying the tiles. No old tiles, it is a new place with cement rendered floors. Does he mean the same thing as screeding? It sounds very similar, but even if it is not and the man is local, rm 25 different is very large, isn’t it? Pardon my ignorance, first time renovating a high rise apartment.
