i have one of those 7 buck terrapins (7 bucks as in i bought it for 7 bucks) those cheap cheap one la
cannot compare to you guys 1000 over dollars.

neways this terrapin at about 20 guppies in a day. and its still not full.
issit normal?
its now about 1 year old and its around 18 cm in leanght(shell). and i cant afford to feed it turtle pellets so i buy fishes. 1 buck for 15 fish if i not mistaken and the turtle will chase them around and eat 4-5 in a day.

weird.
*
i think its ok..but if u wan 2 control its diet, just put a few fish with him/her per day..and add it another day..sometimes our TTT just 'ngap' ape dpn mata.. sweat.gif

I give my tortoise fresh pumkin. You can cut them to small pieces or use 'sagat' will be more easier for your tortoise to 'NGAP'

Depends, its either you give them fresh or half boiled. Big ones can readily consume the fresh pumpkin even tough its hard but for small specimen, boiling the pumpkin might help them eating them better since its softer. Cutting them into small pieces is a good way too.
Mercury vapour bulbs are not recommended as it might endanger you and your chelonians if any mishap happens.  My 0.02 cents

It's important to know what do you feed him? Is it oatmeal or vege or others?

How big is your tort and what is the portion that you are giving so that we can make a comparison, then we will know whether he over eats.

Overloading with food can leads to vomiting, i have experienced that before but not as often as yours i suppose.
*
that is 2nd time he vomit like that.i think that because overfeeding and terlampau gelojoh,ha3.coz he seems to eat as fast as possible when i put a lot of hibiscus flower in his place.maybe takut tort lain abes kan sbb die kecik.. laugh.gif so greedy and selfish,hu3. sweat.gif
