Ally Snapper did snap. The name also SNAPPING turttle mah ! I've tried mine ( same size like in the picture ) he snapped a pensil 2B. Patah 2 wor !!! Since that day i really need to becareful with this fella.

Currently dont have any picture of mine yet. Maybe next time. Now just but them inside the blue tank like in the picture. Im moving out soon

Hibiscus Flower ( Bunga Raya ) Feed your ST & other tortoise with the flower & leaves.

Just would like to share my feelings with you all. I feel so upsad when i know & heard so many people dont know the proper way to take care of their pets, especially tortoise. Please everyone... Do some research about the pets BEFORE you buy or adobt them.
I feel shocked when i heard they feed their tortoise with apple, cucumber, taugeh, rice & etc They dont even know what is basking lamp, UVB lamp, humidity, calsium & etc
Please remember, even they are small & little tiny animals, they have LIFE !!! As the owner, we should give them the best for our pets. If not, better dont keep any pet at all
For those who still not sure & dont know what suppose to give & provide to your pets, please do some research & ask around. Dont let your pets suffer on your hand

The best... Feed your ST with Mustard Green ( Sawi ), Watercress, Exo-Terra tortoise pallets & GEX tortoise pallets.
2 weeks once can feed them with Hibiscus flower & leaves.
Once a month, feed them with Pumkin as a dewormer.

WATERCRESS - Can find it at TESCO or wet market. If im not mistaken Chinese call is Sak Yang Choy

Not that much actually for 2 Star Tortoise, especially if you follow the one i suggested above. Those Mustard Green, Watercress & Pumkin can buy so cheap from the market while the tortoise pallets you just buy once a month. For those supplements, you buy once & will last for a year. If you use the cat litter recycle paper bedding, you dont need to change their bedding every week or every month. Maybe its will last for 3 months. Anyway, you may need to spend little more on the starting to do the right setup for your ST, like buying an aquarium tank with cover, basking lamp, uvb lamp, thermometer, hygrometer & those supplements.

Im im not mistaken, ELMO's is common snapper. Alligator snapper's neck wont be that long.
Hong123's is Ally Snapper from head view & the spiky shape of the top view.

The best way to see your snapper is Alligator Snapper or Common Snapper is to see inside their mouth. Alligator Snapper got a red tounge like a worm ( You can see from the picture ). They will open their mouth & play with their red tounge to trap the fish come inside their mouth. When the fish inside, they will SNAP... Game Over

I saw few of them at Toby Pet Safari before. They also told me that is Alligator Snapper When i told them its not Ally Snapper & the reasons, then only they know the diffrents.
They just smile back at me

RM200? mmm thats is price for Common Snapper Turttles. Alligator Snapper's price is around RM300 to RM400. Some place got sell until RM500 for a baby size like in the picture i posted above.

Thats why i always telling people to do some research about the pets & how to care that pets before they buy or adopt it.
