Giving her pellets
she spend most of her time stationary. not moving
but when i put her to a new place, she move like crazy
*
Maybe the previous owner never feed them with pellets or they are using diffrent type of pallets. Some people & shops they feed RES with fish pellets. Your RES sound like having a highly stress problem. How long you bought the REST. I think let it there for a week & dont bother or disturb. let them cool down & use with the new environment.

Its normal to give dead fish to the turtles to minimize their operating cost. Kangkong is a good choice for turtles bro, in fact the best so far that i know..  hmm.gif
*
Ic... I dont have RES. So im not sure Kangkong is the best for them. U feed Kangkong for the 2 Chinese Turttles that i gave you too ???
Then now i can buy alots of Kangkong & feed those RES in the pond at Bkt Jalil & other places icon_idea.gif
Those "kangkong parit" can give them too ??? hmm.gif

Dude, you sound like "Having A Small Head, But Wanting To Wear A Big Hat"..... laugh.gif

Keeping ST need more intentions, proper caring & high mantainance. Dont just simply buy, please do a proper research first !!!
If not, later the ST will die on your hand wink.gif

i cant find heat wave bulb anywhere......
many petshop i already visit....still no heat wave......
*
Bro, you can get the Heat Wave Bulb in at Natural Aquatic Subang. But its not Exo-Terra lah. Its JBL brand. The prices slightly expensive compare with Exo Terra. There are no more stock for Heat Wave Bulb for whole Malaysia even with hagen stock also finished.
In Penang, you guys can get the JBL Heat Wave Bulb at CTY Aquarium at Jln. Burma there.
Last 2 weeks, I saw in Pet Safari Taman Megah got sell Exo-Terra Heat Wave Bulb ( 40w ). They still have around 5 blubs.
Or you can try contact Chris Nonono to asked for the JBL Heat Wave Bulb smile.gif

Good Luck thumbup.gif

U r wrong! He can walk very fast with his shell lift up.
Maybe now your ST still can walk very fast because its still small size, so you can say Samperth is wrong, BUT, wait sooner & later after few more years when the ST growing big & bigger. If you didnt give them proper diet, enough UVB & basking, then that time you will know who is right & who is wrong lah !

Seriusly your ST dont looks 'healthy' to me.

You should know that TTT is an expensive pets. RM500 plus for a Cherryhead consider very2 cheap allready. The actual market price for Cherryheads are RM750 - RM850 each & will be higher due to the stock supply.

Cherryheads dont really need huge space. Can place them inside the plastic container like TOYOGO or etc.
Here i found a simple setup picture for Red Foot Cherryhead from the net.

Well, 1 question. anyone here owns snake necks? Cause i wanna get diff diets for my snake neck, it's always been eating shrimp and longkang fish hehe
*
I had them before. When they small time, i feed them with frozen blood worm, 'pasar prawns', meal worms, & Hikari Spirulina & GEX pallets.
Then when they become adult, i still continue feed them with the Hikari Spirulina & GEX to maintain the vitamins supply, 'pasar prawns', giant mealworms, karp fish or talapia babies ( those RM1 can get 20 ) smile.gif

I never feed my arowanas, turttles or my other fish before with Life Shrimp. Too risky becoz the sharp shrimp head's might kill them & also same with Longkang Fish which got alots of bacteria on them. We need to quarentine the Lonngkang Fish with the 'Japanese Yellow Powder' for few days before we feed them to our fish or turttles. But its not a guarentee to kill all the bacteria smile.gif

P/S : If you wanna feed them with 'Pasar Prawn'. make sure you wash them with salt water, then wash again few times with normal water. Then cut the prawn into small pieces & keep in a container inside the frezer. When the time you wanna feed your pets, take prawn & rince with normal water for many time until the prawns really soft like normal. Then only feed to your pets.

You can try not to feed them in few days or maybe a week or a weeks plus. Then just to feed them with GEX or Hikari Spirulina. They sure eat !!! Then keep continue feed them with it for few times then slowly mix2 with fish or mealworms.

Still dunno why.... thinking clearly what should i get when i have the budget... Cherry head or sulcata.... Cause i seriously like sulcatas... lol
*
Cherryheads are easy to take compare to Sulcata & their price also diffrent too. Sulcata are selling around RM700 - RM1000 depends on their size & they are not that easy to maintain, same like Leopard tortoise too.
Cherryheads, radiated & few more are kinda suitable for our weather & culture. Please refer their caresheets which care given on the frontpage to compare smile.gif
