I bot a heat glo lamp which has lowered the humidity somewhat...

Anyway, read somewhere that as long as the its warm and humid, the stars shld be fine.

But will still switch on the heat glo lamp at nite to lower the humidity, thats all i can do really, still have no idea as to what causes such high humidity...

Because their back is soft compared to normal turtles, brushing them might hurt and stress them. Their carapace contains lots of nerves endings and brushing them might hurt, its better if you install a good filtering setup to counter those stuff at the carapace.

my roommate got a new tort..from his gf maybe..but i dont what species it is..it seems very friendly and cute..maybe someone here know,so i put the picture below.. ...can u guys identified wat species it is?

my ST still have RNS i think.actually become better oledi.each of them seems in good condition,active and really have appetite now.just a little hingus when they woke up from sleep.but i didnt satisfied with that,need to take them  to vet before i go back to my hometown..after exam lah..

Added on April 8, 2008, 2:13 ambro Fat Cat,can u show me the pic how ur ST sleep?ha3.my ST sleeping style very buruk la..aha3.they just simply laying down their head on the bedding and sleep.mcm leher patah,ha3.my fren skatila said maybe they feel comfort and secure,coz first time they with me,they sleep with half of head in their carapace.

This is my first time ever to post here, after reading for quite sometimes to do research before keeping the TTT & join the TTT Club .
Currently I'm keeping 3 RES (2 Teen & 1 Baby), A Pair of Baby Fly River & 1 Star.

Seeking advise frm Sifu here, do I need to Sun Bath my Fly River Turtle, like what I did to my RES & ST, or just let the FRT playing the the aquarium ?
