Ohhh this one for Guinea Pigs. I have 1 too. Why dont you use fish tank? better than this ZooZone...
Anyway, maybe you can put newspaper or etc on the tank cover to lower the humidity.... This post has been edited by Fat^Cat: Apr 4 2008, 02:58 AM |

QUOTE(beycont @ Apr 4 2008, 12:58 AM) I bot a heat glo lamp which has lowered the humidity somewhat... What is the hygrometer reading now? Anyway, read somewhere that as long as the its warm and humid, the stars shld be fine. But will still switch on the heat glo lamp at nite to lower the humidity, thats all i can do really, still have no idea as to what causes such high humidity... Its better to use fish tank reither than this ZooZone Tank This post has been edited by Fat^Cat: Apr 4 2008, 02:54 AM |

QUOTE(uzairi @ Apr 5 2008, 01:14 AM) Because their back is soft compared to normal turtles, brushing them might hurt and stress them. Their carapace contains lots of nerves endings and brushing them might hurt, its better if you install a good filtering setup to counter those stuff at the carapace. Yeah... Good filteration setup + Uv Sterilizer will helps |

QUOTE(slackerz @ Apr 8 2008, 01:33 AM) my ST still have RNS i think.actually become better oledi.each of them seems in good condition, active and really have appetite now.just a little hingus when they woke up from sleep.but i didnt satisfied with that, need to take them to vet before i go back to my hometown..after exam lah.. I didnt bring mine to Vet when they kena RNS before. Just sunbath them everyday, opened basking lamp from 12pm to 12am then maintain the humidity 40 - 60 by using Heat Wafe... Feed them with vitamins too. But its take sometime to cure lah. I think this natural way is much better than send them to Vet because what i know, not many vet know how to handle the tortoise. |

QUOTE(askme @ Apr 9 2008, 05:59 PM) Greeting All, WELCOME to TTT Club This is my first time ever to post here, after reading for quite sometimes to do research before keeping the TTT & join the TTT Club Currently I'm keeping 3 RES (2 Teen & 1 Baby), A Pair of Baby Fly River & 1 Star. Seeking advise frm Sifu here, do I need to Sun Bath my Fly River Turtle, like what I did to my RES & ST, or just let the FRT playing the the aquarium ? Thanks in advance ! P/S: sorry for any eng-typo.. Not necessary to Sunbath your FRT. The most important is the quality of water. You need to change 1/2 of the water level every 2 or 3 days UNLESS you have a vey good filteration system. Please bear in mind that Radiated's prices are totally diffrent compare to ST.
Radiated's prices depends on their gred patterns & sizes while ST just depends on their sizes only. So, lagi besar saiz & lagi cantik pattern of that radiated.... Lagi mahal lah... Correct me if im wrong... Normally radiated will diffrentciate as : - Normal - High Yellow - Super High Yellow ( Sun Radiated ) This post has been edited by Fat^Cat: Apr 11 2008, 07:52 PM |
