Actually I did not wait. When I saw the first thunder, I set up my gear and start doing 10 sec exposure. Very often the thunder came when my S3 was busy saving data, so I missed some. I spent about 30 minutes to capture the thunder I want before my wife started to complain. Well, that happens all the time when I am too busy with my camera O_o

The one with the tree has a better cloudy background. Looks more vivid and stormy.
